Volunteers for Community Investment!

We think you're perfect for Community Investment!

The United Way Community Investment Team is comprised of diverse individuals who have a combination of the following skills:  strategic planning, outcome measurement, community leadership and financial expertise. The members of the Community Investment Team are representative of Person County demography.

What do Community Investment volunteers do?

Person County United Way provides training so volunteers become experts in the issues facing our community. Trained volunteers decide how our investments can make the biggest impact in our community. Each member personally reviews and scores funding applications from local agencies. They also participate in a group discussion and develop a consensus based score. Expand your network by meeting other volunteers, learning about community issues and hearing from people working on the ground to create community change and see first-hand how Person County United Way's contribution is improving lives.
